Privacy is very important. Therefore, I am very careful with your personal information. I do collect some information with the aim to maintain the website and to get to know what the visitors of the website like the most.

Below you can read what information I collect, why, and when and under which conditions I may share them with third parties. I also explain how I store your information, how I protect your information against misuse and what your rights are regarding the personal information you gave to me.

1. Safety

Belicons has a SSL certificate. This means that filling out data on this website is safe, because the connection is encrypted. You can see this because there is a lock icon on the left top of the browser, before the website address.

2. Forms on the contact page

When you fill out a form on the Contact page, the information you wrote down will be added to an overview of forms that have been filled out. I keep these because they can help me to understand some new filled out forms better. You can perceive it as the history of emails that helps ons to understand new questions better.

 

3. 'Email this page' form

On many pages on Belicons you can use the 'Email this page' form to share that page with someone else. The information you fill out will also be added to the overview of filled out forms. This will help me to understand what pages get the attention of Belicons visitors.

 

4. Orders

When you buy something on Belicons you do leave some personal information on Belicons. I use that to get the order at the right address. This information will be added to an overview of all orders, just as the administration of a physical store. 

You don't pay on the website Belicons. Payments are done via Molly B.V., PayPal, or you transfer the money yourself. So you don't leave information like credit card and bank account number on Belicons, so these cannot be saved or stolen.

 

5. Account information

When you create an account on Belicons the information you fill out will be saved, so that the system will remember you when you log in again. Only the information that you fill out yourself will be saved.

Each person that creates an account will so get a personal contact page. Other people can contact you via this form. This form only shows your name, no other personal information.

 

6. Newsletter

There is a Belicons newsletter. This is a monthly newsletter. You'll have to subscribe to it to receive it. You won't be added to the subscribers list when you fill out a form or order a product. Below each newsletter and below each webpage of Belicons there is a link that you can use to easily unsubscribe.

 

7. Comments

When you leave a comment below a blog, vlog, product, or on the forum your reaction will be saved. In this way other people can read your comments and respond to it. If you like to send a private message to someone on Belicons you can use the Contact form of the person. Jut click on the name of the person on the forum (when the name is in the shape of a hyperlink) and choose the tab 'contact'.

 

8. Facebook

There is a Facebook pixel on Belicons. This is a piece of code that helps me to see what ads are successful and which aren't. Moreover, it helps me to understand what kind of people are interested in Belicons. This is just about numbers, not about individuals. I won't upload email addresses to Facebook. 9. Google analytics

Google analytics too gives me a lot of information about visitors on Belicons. This information will not lead to you specifically. With the help of Google analytics I will get to know what pages get the most visitors, via which website people find Belicons, etc. I hope to be able to adjust the website according to what visitors like the most. 10. Social media icons

On many pages on Belicons you'll find Facebook, Twitter and Google+ icons. I don't collect information in this way, but it does help to get more publicity for Belicons and its content.

11. Hosting2Go

Webhosting and email services of Belicons are provided by Hosting2Go. Hosting2Go does process personal information on my behalf, but doesn't use this information for their own purposes. Hosting2Go can collect metadata in about the use of their services. These data aren't personal information. Hosting2Go has taken technical and organizational measurements in order to prevent the loss and misuse of your personal information. Hosting2Go has a  duty of confidentiality based on our agreement.

 

12. Mollie and PayPal

In order to enable people to pay on my webshop I make use of the services of the platforms Mollie and PayPal. Mollie and PayPal process data of your name, address, and city and your payment data as your banking account number or creditcard number. Mollie and PayPal have taken technical and organizational measurements in order to prevent the loss and misuse of your personal information. Mollie and PayPal do have the right to collect data in order to further improve their services and in order to reach that aim to share anonymous information with third parties.

These mentioned warrants regarding the protection of your personal information also apply in cases in which Mollie and PayPal hire third parties. Mollie and PayPal do not store your information longer than is allowed by law.

 

13. Webwinkelkeur

I do collect reviews via the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you write a review via WebwinkelKeur then you are obliged to give them your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur will share this information with me, so that I can connect your review with your order. WebwinkelKeur will publish your name in their own website. In some cases WebwinkelKeur can contact you in order to clarify your review. If I invite you to review the purchase, then I'll share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They will use this information only for the purpose of the review.

WebwinkelKeur has taken technical and organizational measurements in order to prevent the loss and misuse of your personal information. WebwinkelKeur does have the right to involve third parties in order to provide their services. I have given WebwinkelKeur permission to do so. These mentioned warrants regarding the protection of your personal information also apply in cases in which WebwinkelKeur involves third parties.

 

14. PostNL

If you place an order on Belicons, then it is my duty to have that delivered. In order to deliver the products I make use of the services of PostNL. For this service it is imperative that I share your name, address and city data with PostNL. PostNL will only use these data in order to execute the agreement. If PostNL involves subcontractors, PostNL will share your data also with these parties.

 

15. Corporation to fiscal en criminal investigation

It could happen that is obliged to share your personal information with the government based on an obligation by law regarding a fiscal or criminal investigation. In such a case, I'm forced to share your personal information, but I'll try to oppose this to the extent that is allowed by law.

 

16. Retention period

I'll store your information as long as you are a consumer at Belicons. This means that I'll store your consumer profile until you say that you no longer wish to make use of my services. If you tell me so, then I'll regard that as a request to be forgotten. Based on administrative obligations I need to safe invoices with your (personal)data. This means that I'll keep that information as long as I'm obliged to by law.

 

17. Your rights

You'll always have the right to see the information that I process or have processed that concern you personally or can be traced to you. You can ask me to do this. Within 30 days, you'll receive a response to your request. If your request is granted, then I'll send you at the email address that I have of you a copy of all information and an overview of the processors who have this information. I'll also mention the category under which I have stored this information.

Within 30 days, you'll receive a response to your request. If your request is granted, then I'll send you at the email address that I have of you a confirmation email that the information has been adjusted.

This privacy policy only applies to the Belicons website and not to websites that links on refer to.

This privacy policy can be updated. So check it regularly.
